I’m new to Talify Missouri. What is it?
Talify Missouri is an exciting new web-based platform brought to you by the Missouri Division of Workforce Development and Kiosite, LLC, to more effectively connect you with career opportunities based upon your skills, interests, and personality traits.
How do I register with Talify Missouri?
You start by linking to Talify Missouri from your Jobs.mo.gov profile. Click on the Talify Missouri button available on the main page of your Jobs.mo.gov profile. We make creating a Talify Missouri profile easy by integrating and mapping over your information from your Jobs.mo.gov profile to Talify Missouri. All you have to do to complete your Talify Missouri profile is fill out a few additional questions about your background and preferences, and take our Talify Missouri assessment, which measures your personality traits to help match you with a job that’s right for you. We make your job search easy by making that information available to Missouri employers looking to hire qualified candidates.
Will the information that I enter in my Talify Missouri profile be integrated and mapped over to my Jobs.mo.gov profile?
Unfortunately, at this time the information that you enter in your Talify Missouri profile will not be integrated and mapped over back to your Jobs.mo.gov profile.
I am skeptical that Talify Missouri will help me find a job. Why will it work?

Detailed output will help you learn about your individual strengths and opportunities for improvement, along with what types of roles might be best for you.
Thanks to Talify Missouri, job-seekers no longer spend countless hours scouring other job sites only to learn about roles that aren’t right for them. With Talify Missouri, employers are introduced to the candidates who are best suited to fill their openings and job-seekers are matched with employers who have the jobs they most desire.
I am not a resident of Missouri. Can I use Talify Missouri?
Talify Missouri is working with the Missouri Division of Workforce Development, and is rolling out to select areas of the state. For now, you must be a resident within these areas to access the platform.
How much does Talify Missouri cost?
Talify Missouri is provided by the State of Missouri and free to Missouri residents. You will receive feedback on work-related strengths, career guidance, interview coaching, and your information will be included in the Talify Missouri database used by employers to find talent statewide.
Am I guaranteed to be hired or interviewed by an employer?
Although we think Talify Missouri will increase your chances of successfully getting a job interview for a career that fits your skills and personality, like any other job search, there is no guarantee that Talify Missouri will find you a job. However, we here at Talify Missouri are devoted to providing state of the art tools that will help you find your dream job and start your career off on the right foot.
Why does the sign-up process require me to answer certain questions?
We have found that this unique set of questions allows us to create a full assessment of your strengths, preferences, and skills, allowing employers to easily identify you as the right choice for their opening.
Who has access to the data that I enter?
Talify Missouri takes your privacy very seriously—please see our Privacy Policy for a full explanation. Registered employers may access your data, but you may choose to hide your contact details, if you wish, or deactivate your profile, which will suppress your information in employer search results.
How soon after registering should I expect initial contact from an employer?
Your name and general information is uploaded to the Talify Missouri candidate database immediately after you complete registration, and your data is included in employer searches moments after that. That said, the time before you receive initial contact from an employer can vary, depending upon the compatibility of your skills and desires with what employers are seeking.
How will employers view me when they search for candidates?
Employers in Talify Missouri will see the information that you see regarding your contact information, job preferences, and personality assessment feedback. Talify Missouri takes into account your aptitude, personality strengths and weaknesses, and matches you will not only be good at, but also enjoy!
I already utilize other job search sites; should I still use Talify Missouri?
At Talify Missouri, we do the legwork and allow you to spend your time focusing on the important facets of the job hunt, discover what you want to do, and improve your chances of getting hired. Our behavioral traits feedback, career guidance, and interview coaching will help you find your passion, and ensure you take the right steps to get hired. Even if you don’t find your dream job through us, we’ll provide you with the tools to ensure no matter where your opportunity comes from you’re prepared to succeed.
How do I know my personality assessment fits me?
Because our personality assessment is based on a forced-choice methodology, there’s no way to “game” the system. It is rooted in over 50 years of research and results. It has been validated many times. It’s best to take the assessment as honestly as possible to make sure that you get the most accurate feedback. Once you spend some time understanding how the feedback works together, we hope you will find it helpful.
I still think my personality assessment does not fit me, and I’m worried that employers will discriminate against me. What can I do?
We suggest you spend some time digesting the data. Ask a few family members, friends or previous employers to provide input or feedback. If you still feel the data does not fit you, you can deactivate your profile through your profile on Talify Missouri, and your results will be suppressed from employer search results immediately. You can deactivate and reactive your profile as often as you like.
Can I retake my assessment?
Hopefully you spent some time completing the information thoughtfully. Knowing that most people’s results will be accurate, Talify Missouri implemented a cool down period that permits you to retake your assessment after a 180 day waiting period. We use a cool down period since major personality shifts after a certain age are rare, and taking the assessment frequently does not provide additional value since taking it openly and honestly will not change the underlying personality traits.

Talify Missouri doesn’t seem to be displaying correctly. What’s going on? (Internet Explorer Issue)
If you are using Internet Explorer, please see the instruction below. If not, please contact us at support@talify.com.
In some versions of Internet Explorer, the configurations of Internet Explorer cause Talify Missouri to display incorrectly. Please click on "Compatibility View Settings" under the "Tools" Menu in the top bar of this window. Then unclick "Display all websites in Compatibility View". Click "Close" and refresh the page. If this doesn’t solve the viewing problems, contact us at support@talify.com.
